On Sunday, January 19, 2020 the Connecticut Flight Club held its annual awards banquet to recognize the achievements of its members in 2019. The banquet was held at the USS Chowder Pot IV in Hartford, Connecticut.

Recognition awards went to the following members:

  •  Tyler Carson – Private Pilot rating
  • James Giorgio – Private Pilot rating
  • Fredd Baber – Instrument rating
  • David Chapdelaine – CFI rating
  • Matthew Macaluso – CFI rating

And the Top Gun Award for highest number of hours flown went to John Klimas who flew a total of 35.2 hours in 2019!

Many thanks to departing Treasurer Bob Scaglia for his hard work in organizing the banquet and ensuring a good time was had by all. Additional thanks to the USS Chowder Pot IV for providing a great venue and a delicious meal for all our guests! 

The Connecticut Flight Club is looking forward to another great year in 2020.
