Hartford Jet Center celebrates Hartford-Brainard's 99th anniversary from May 21 to June 21 with $0.99 off per gallon for 15 gallons or a top-off. They'll also have hot dogs & hamburgers on the weekends from 11am-3pm. All pilots and flying enthusiasts are welcome! All donations will be donated to first responders and their families. The event will adhere to all CDC guidelines and social distancing rules. Learn more about the history of Brainard Field from the Connecticut Historical Society.

On January 26 at 9:00am at the Hartford Jet Center, flight club CFI Matthew Macaluso will be holding "Sunday School" to review airspace, entry requirements, basic concepts of ADS-B, and demonstrating the Garmin GNX 375 which will be installed in CFC aircraft.

The holidays are about spending time with family and friends! And so on 12/19, club members got together at the USS Chowder Pot IV - right down the street from HFD - for an impromptu holiday dinner.

The club will kick off the new decade with a number of exciting events and programs. February Fly-Out: Alton Bay (B18) Ice Runway Learn how to fly in formation with your fellow club members and explore the unique seaplane-base-turned-ice-runway on Lake Winnipesaukee. More details will be provided as the event nears. Sunday School: Earn WINGS credit! No need to put on your Sunday Best. Join Matt Macaluso and Dave Chapdelaine for classroom discussions on varied safety and planning topics. You will earn WINGS credits, plus a monthly rental credit on your Flight Circle account!
